Why We Need a Diversity and Inclusion Plan

Participants will learn about the value of having a diversity and inclusion plan. The co-chairs of the NAWJ Diversity & Inclusion standing committee will review the current plan and outline actions taken to ensure the plan is followed. DOJ Director of the Office for Access to Justice Rachel Rossi will then bring a national perspective to the conversation given her leadership and experience. By the end of the webinar, participants will understand:

• NAWJ's Diversity and Inclusion Plan document.
• Why intentional actions are needed to ensure diversity and inclusion.
• Why diversity and inclusion is important to the legal profession as a whole.
