As a member of NAWJ, since first becoming a judge, the organization has had a profound impact on shaping my judicial career. Specifically, it has helped me grow as a leader and in becoming active in a variety of legal and social issues that I am passionate about. NAWJ has only reinforced my belief that a diverse judiciary composed of more women and minorities is critical to ensuring equal access to justice for all. More than ever, we need judges, and an overall judicial system, representative of the people who come before them.
