On November 16, 2016, NAWJ’s District One presented "Branching Out: Opportunities to Make a Difference in three Branches of Government."
This is District One's signature program, developed by Justice Nan Duffly (Massachusetts Supreme Court, Retired) to encourage young women and minorities to consider careers in government. Throughout the years, the program has expanded to college students, law students and young lawyers, men women and minorities. The program presents a speaker from each branch of the government, and then offers panel discussions where speakers discuss their journey and take questions from the attendees. The program is followed by a networking reception.
As you can see from the photos, it was standing room only.
