NAWJ CO-SPONSORS ABA RESOLUTION SUPPORTING INDIGENT PRO BONO REPRESENTATION

NAWJ has voted to support, as a Co-Sponsor, the Commission on the Renaissance of Idealism in the Legal Profession's ABA Resolution 121C urging the judiciary to encourage, facilitate and recognize pro bono representation of indigent parties in civil cases, consistent with applicable ethical constraints and federal, state and local legal restrictions. NAWJ congratulates the Commission on its fine work on this Resolution and the corresponding Resolutions which will also come before the House of Delegates at the Annual Meeting.
